To create an interactive furniture configurator allowing purchasers both online and inshore to customise the build of their sofas and chairs across a wide product range.
The White Crow team modelled 10 furniture ranges, with each range comprising 3 seater sofas, through to varying chair styles and footstools. The configurator needed to function on the Lee Longlands’ website, on hand held devices in-store and the images used for digital and print marketing campaigns.
In all some 1700 images were rendered with 100 fabric variants and 2 feet styles allowing customers to select their desired piece of furniture and view in any colour and configuration of their choosing.
The content for Lee Longlands became a successful marketing campaign for customers to personalise their own sofa int heir own way through the in-store interactive and online configurator.
They was the first time customers were able to see the complete sofa ranges in every possible fabric variation instead of having to imagine it from scanned in digital images or small fabric swatches. “The feedback from customers was amazing” says Steven Kelly, Marketing Manager, Lee Longlands.
“The configurator eliminated such a number of customer queries as every variant could actually be seen, this in turn led to more online and in-store sales and customer decisions were made more quickly”.
“What the White Crow team created was so real, we are always being told the images look like real photographs. The 3D product visuals gave us further flexibility to be ablate reutilise 3D models in future marketing campaigns and create new visuals quickly and cost effectively”
